From Huatulco:
• Hotel Shuttle Service (from the airport): We can arrange an airport pick-up for $1000MXN. Our driver will meet you at the gate and walk 250m with you to the car.
• Taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost you around $1000 MXN.
• Car (1h drive): Follow the main road towards Pochutla (see below).
From Puerto Escondido:
• Hotel Shuttle Service (from the airport): We can arrange airport pick-up for $1200MX.
• Car rental (75-90 minute drive): Follow the main road towards Pochutla (see below).
From Oaxaca:
• Car: Take road #175 directly to Pochutla. This road is very scenic BUT it is also windy and very winding and you will not be able to drive fast once you are in the mountains. Driving time of around 5 to 6 hours.
or
Take road #190 to Salina Cruz and get to the hotel via Huatulco. This drive is less arduous but will take 7 to 8 hours.
• Bus: Take a bus to Pochutla.
From Pochutla:
• Car (30-minute drive): Follow the main road towards Pochutla. At the outskirts of Pochutla, you will come to a large intersection. Go straight ahead towards Puerto Angel. About 300m after the 243km mark, take a left onto a bumpy dirt road (you will see signs for the Hotel and “La Boquilla” beach). Follow the road for about 500m, turn left at the intersection and continue to follow the road down to the beach (about 2.5km). At the beach turn left, follow the road up and down the hill to our parking lot and reception.
• Taxi: Take a taxi to “La Boquilla” (around $350 MXN). Depending on the taxi driver, he will or will not bring you all the way down to the beach, as the road is not in the best shape. The worst case would be that you’d have to walk down the hill for the last 200-300m. Our hotel is located at the far end of the beach.
From Puerto Angel:
• Taxi: Take a cab to “La Boquilla” (about $400 MXN). Depending on the cab driver, he will or will not bring you all the way down to the beach, as the road is not in very good shape. The worst-case scenario is that you would have to walk down the hill for the last 200-300m. Our hotel is located at the far end of the beach.
• Boat: Take a taxi-boat from Puerto Angel directly to our beach. This is by far the most romantic way to arrive. Should you be interested in this mode of transportation, we can send you information to set you up with the fisherman we do business with.
We strongly recommend daylight arrivals, as the 3km road down to the beach from the highway can be difficult to navigate in the dark.
